Nebraska Medicine

Our newly integrated organization allows us to strengthen our services by expanding collaboration with our partners and providing patients access to more than 1,000 physicians and 678 licensed hospital beds as well as approximately 40 specialty and primary care clinics in Omaha and the surrounding area.

CHI Health

CHI Health is a regional health network with a unified mission: nurturing the healing ministry of the Church while creating healthier communities. Headquartered in Omaha, the combined organization consists of 15 hospitals, two stand-alone behavioral health facilities and more than 150 employed physician practice locations in Nebraska and southwestern Iowa. Nearly 15,900 employees comprise the workforce of this network that includes 2,820 licensed beds and serves as the primary teaching partner of Creighton University's health sciences schools. In fiscal year 2013, the organization provided a combined $130.7 million in quantified community benefit including services for the poor,
free clinics, education and research. With locations stretching from Kearney, Neb. to Missouri Valley, Iowa, the health network is the largest in Nebraska and serves residents of Nebraska, southwest Iowa and northern Kansas.

Children's Hospital & Medical Center

Proudly serving children since 1948, Children's Hospital & Medical Center is recognized as a 2013-14 Best Children's Hospital by U.S. News & World Report in cardiology and heart surgery, and gastroenterology and GI surgery. It is the only full-service, pediatric health care center in Nebraska, providing expertise in more than 30 pediatric specialty services to children across a five-state region and beyond. Located in Omaha, the 145-bed, non-profit hospital operates the only Level II Pediatric Trauma Center in the region and offers 24-hour, in-house services by pediatric critical care specialists.

The Lions Eye Bank of Nebraska

The Lions Eye Bank of Nebraska is a not for profit service organization dedicated to the restoration and preservation of sight. The Eye Bank recovers, processes, evaluates, and distributes human ocular tissue for transplantation and research. New Hearts Transplant Support Group

New Hearts Transplant Support Group is a non-profit, all volunteer organization, incorporated in Nebraska. Members include transplant recipients and their families, transplant candidates or potential candidates, donor families, medical personnel, social workers, clergy and others interested in transplantation and promoting donor awareness. The group serves people with all types of organ and tissue transplants—heart, lung, liver, pancreas, kidney, small bowel and cornea.

New Hearts' mission is to support pre- and post-transplant families, to promote donor awareness and to honor donor families. This group provides a volunteer base for statewide public education and awareness activities. There are no membership dues or fees.
